  Outlook Express Identities Setup

Launch Outlook Express. From the File menu choose "identities", then, "Add New Identity."

The screen below will appear.  Type in the name you wish to use for the new identity.  You have the option of password protecting the new identity so others that use that computer cannot switch to your identity and see your mail.  When finished, click "OK".

Next, this screen will appear.  Click "Yes".

You may get this next screen. If so, choose "Create a new Internet mail account."

Next, this screen will appear.  Type in the Display name you wish to use for the identity.  This name will appear in your email to whomever you send to.  When finished, click "Next".

Next, this screen will appear.  Type in your email address.  This should be the valid email address you have setup with us.  When finished, click "Next".

Next, this screen will appear.  Type in the appropriate POP3 and SMTP servers.  Our server name is mail.accessky.net.  When finished, click "Next".

Next, this screen will appear.  Type in the appropriate Account name.  This is a full email address.  Enter your password.  You have the option of saving your password at this point also.  DO NOT check "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).  When finished, click "next".

Now you will get a screen offering to import previously detected Email addresses.  You can choose to import or not.  This can be tricky sometimes.  Due to the various configurations people may have on their computers, we cannot display all possibilities here, but we are sure you can figure it out!

If you do not import, you will see this screen.  Click "Next."

Now, go to "Tools" and Click "Accounts."

Go to the "Mail" tab and click the "Properties" button.

Click the "Servers" tab and check the box at the bottom that says "My Server requires authentication.

Click "OK." Congratulations, And close out the rest of the windows.  You are done.
